Who We Are

There’s nothing quite like watching a blank wall transform into a vibrant work of art created by an entire community. That’s what we love to do.

Our specialty is designing and leading large-scale, community paint-by-number murals that bring people of all ages, abilities, and artistic backgrounds together. Whether someone has painted for years or has never picked up a brush, everyone can play a part in creating something beautiful. The result is more than a mural—it’s a lasting source of community pride, connection, and memories.

My mural journey began in 2008 when our daughter was born. I’d always enjoyed art as a hobby, so I decided to paint a mural in her bedroom. That first project was my “aha!” moment. I discovered not only a love for creating murals, but also the joy they bring to others.

I was fortunate to spend ten years at home raising our daughter and son, which gave me the opportunity to dream about what an artistic career could become. Although I eventually returned to full-time work outside the arts, community mural projects continue to fuel my creativity and remind me why I fell in love with painting in the first place.

Today, these projects are truly a team effort. I am incredibly grateful for the people who make each mural possible.

About the Team:

Diane Harte

After spending 30 years as a kindergarten teacher in St. Johns, Diane volunteered for my very first community mural project—and we’ve been creating together ever since. We learned countless lessons through that first experience, sharing plenty of laughter (and yes, a few tears!) along the way. Together, we’ve developed a fun, organized approach that helps community mural events run smoothly while making every participant feel welcome and successful.

Kristie Ignash

Kristie has been my best friend since college and has become an invaluable part of our mural team. Like Diane, she also has a teaching background (there seems to be a pattern here—teachers really are amazing!). She brings endless enthusiasm, encouragement, and organization to every event and genuinely enjoys connecting with the communities we serve.

Oakley Davis & Rachel Kirk

My daughter, Oakley, and her wonderful friend Rachel are the behind-the-scenes superheroes of every project. From washing brushes and helping painters on the wall to making last-minute supply runs and solving unexpected challenges, they keep everything moving with smiles and positive energy.

The Most Important Part: Our Communities

The heart of every mural is the community that creates it.

We’re continually humbled by the trust of building owners who invite us to transform their walls into public art. We’re equally grateful to the organizations, businesses, and individuals whose financial support makes these projects possible.

Most of all, we’re thankful to every volunteer who picks up a paintbrush. Your time, creativity, and enthusiasm are what turn a mural into a community masterpiece.

Every mural tells a story—but the best part is that it’s a story created together.
